All Brave log splitters are designed, fabricated, welded, and powder coated
in-house for total quality control. Brave uses the best components available so
you wont be plagued with unexpected downtime - commercial horizontal shaft
engines, Haldex Barnes pumps, Prince control valves, thick-walled hydraulic
cylinders with added sealing capabilities, and machined tool steel splitting
wedges. All hydraulic cylinders, valves, and tanks are built to our rugged
standards and pre-tested to ensure quality.
All Brave products are manufactured in Streator, Illinois. Brave is one of six
PMW companies with over 250,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing capacity and close ties
to nearby subsidiaries. Our engineering department has years of expertise
designing steel fabricated products and hydraulic equipment, and we have
complete in-house manufacturing and powder coating capabilities.

Our standard freight service is "to the back of the semi-truck" at your location. This is the standard for freight delivery. Some people would prefer to have their splitter unloaded for them which we offer for a small additional charge as trucking companies charge extra for this service.

For a quote for major parts like motors, pumps, cylinders send an email to nancy@sellcom.com and include your full address (so we can calculate shipping) and the model of your splitter and as many numbers from it as you can find on it so that we can quote you the correct part as all parts are special order.

Satisfaction guarantee. Our splitters ordered at advertised pricing have a
21 day (from date
of delivery) return policy. SELLCOM reserves the right to charge a
shipping and handling charge or actual shipping charge
(whichever is greater) for returns and a $85 handling fee for cancellations
as these are built to order. (shipping is only
free if you KEEP the product) These things are heavy! (You simply need to
notify us within that 21 day period of your request for RA.
Your RA number is then good for 20 days to give you plenty of time.) This
only covers the original units ordered online and requires a
FAXed confirmation form with a customer signature. (we email you the form to
sign and FAX back to us and then we email you a RA number and return
address). All returns must be pre-approved and require a
RA number. This guarantee is only for systems delivered to the US.
Merchandise must be returned in new condition in original packaging with
all manuals etc. All returns must be

product also has a Full One Year WARRANTY and is really a "what you see is
what you get" product with a great reputation.
* IMPORTANT DISCLOSURE: We have had excellent results with our shipping and ship our units insured. HOWEVER, as with all heavy equipment shipped by freight it is essential that you examine your unit for shipping damage BEFORE signing off on it. If you sign for it as "undamaged" then we might not be able help you if it was damaged during shipping. If you have any concerns then demand the shipper document them before you sign off. If you sign that any product is undamaged then you may take responsibility if it was. Our shipping is "freight" shipping to the back of the truck at your location (assuming a semi can get to your location, see below). Many customers prefer to go to the hub with a pickup truck. Stated shipping is to "normal" delivery areas; if you are in an extremely remote area you probably know that already, eh? In rare instances there may be an additional shipping charge if you require special delivery options like "liftgate". If this is a concern to you then email support@sellcom.com with your full address for a shipping quote or to confirm your free shipping before ordering. Anyone refusing a shipment without reasonable cause will be charged a minimum $225 shipping and handling. * There are some remote and island areas that are extremely expensive to ship to. Generally those folks know who they are. In those cases we will contact you for permission before charging you for shipping. |
